Order Execution Policy (Best Execution)
Invinitive Financial UK Ltd — Best Execution Summary
Version 1.1 | Invinitive Financial UK Ltd
1. Overview
This document summarises Invinitive Financial UK Ltd's ("Invinitive") Order Execution Policy. It explains how we handle client orders to achieve the best possible outcome when executing trades on your behalf.
This policy applies to all clients who hold investment accounts with Invinitive and place orders through the platform.
We are required to take all sufficient steps to obtain the best possible result for our clients when executing orders, having regard to the execution factors set out in this policy.
2. Our Best Execution Obligation
Invinitive is required to take all sufficient steps to obtain the best possible result for clients when transmitting or executing orders, in accordance with the FCA's conduct of business rules (COBS 11).
When executing your orders, we will take into account the following:
- The characteristics of your order
- The financial instruments involved
- The execution venues to which we have access
For retail clients, price will ordinarily be the most important factor in achieving best execution, though other factors may take precedence in certain circumstances.
3. Execution Factors
When determining the best possible result, we take into account the following execution factors, broadly in order of priority for retail clients:
- Price — the price at which the transaction is executed, including any commissions or fees
- Costs — all costs associated with execution, including transaction fees, clearing and settlement costs
- Speed — how quickly the order can be executed
- Likelihood of execution and settlement — the probability that the order can be filled at the desired price
- Size and nature of the order — whether the size of the order may impact market price
- Market impact — any other relevant considerations
We may apply different weightings to these factors depending on market conditions, instrument type or order characteristics.
4. Execution Venues
Invinitive transmits client orders for execution via its clearing and settlement infrastructure. Execution venues include:
- Regulated markets (e.g. London Stock Exchange, NYSE, NASDAQ)
- Multilateral trading facilities (MTFs)
- Market makers and systematic internalisers where applicable
We review the quality of execution obtained across our venues on a regular basis to ensure we continue to meet our best execution obligations.
A list of execution venues and the top five venues used for each asset class is available upon request in accordance with our regulatory reporting obligations.
5. Monitoring & Review
We monitor the effectiveness of this policy on a regular basis and carry out a formal review at least annually, or whenever a material change occurs that affects our ability to obtain the best possible result for clients.
We will notify clients of any material changes to this policy.
Post-trade data on execution quality is monitored and used to inform improvements to our order routing and execution processes.
6. Client Consent
By using the Invinitive platform and placing orders, you consent to this Order Execution Policy. You acknowledge that Invinitive may execute orders outside a regulated market or MTF where this is consistent with best execution.
You may request further information about this policy or our execution arrangements at any time by contacting us at info@invinitive.co.uk.
